PR: Chris Roddenberry to Appear on 'Chautauqua People'

Dr. Chris Roddenberry is the next person to appear on Chautauqua People.

The program will air at 1:30 and 7:30 PM each day beginning on July 9, with the last airing on July 15.

Chris is a native of Mobile, Alabama and completed his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC and is the Lead Researcher on a competitive $2.7 Million US Department of Education grant to examine means to improve the retention of community college students in on-line education programs. Dr. Roddenberry will be shown visiting the site where a formerly homeless student lived while participating in on-line education with enhanced social contacts through meeting software.

Dr. Roddenberry will be interviewed by Chautauqua People Producer John Viehe.

Access Channel 5 (QAM channel 5.3 without a converter) is available to cable viewers in the Mayville, Chautauqua, North Harmony, Sherman, Westfield and Portland areas.
