PR: Special Election Coverage to Include Plumb/Reed Debate

Access Channel 5 will be televising live election debates and an interview. Some coverage will pre-empt regular programming.

Chautauqua County District Attorney candidates Jason Schmidt and Patrick Swanson will debate live on October 29th at 12:00 PM, with replays running October 29 through Novermber 4 at 12:30 and 6:30 PM.

Lee Hyson, candidate for the NYS Senate 57th district will be interviewed live on October 29th at 2:00 PM, with replays running October 29 through November 4 at 12:00 and6:00 PM.

U.S. House of Representatives candidates John Plumb and Tom Reed will debate live from Chautauqua Lake Central School on November 1st at 7:00 PM. This debate is hosted by the League of Women Voters. Replays will air November 4 through November 8 at 3:00 and 9:00 PM. Live coverage is scheduled to be carried on access channels throughout Chautauqua County, channels vary in some communities.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
