PR: Access Channel 5 Programming for July 8-14

All the new programming for the week of July 8, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Fresh Perspectives, Chautauqua People, Chaut. Co. July 4th Parade, and the latest Chautauqua Institution Lecture Series 2016!

This week's Chautauqua lecture is Ilia Delio, "Transhumanism and Transcendence: What are we Becoming with our Technologies," at 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will feature Mekanie Witkowski, from CASAC addiction and prevention as his guest. The program airs live county-wide on various access channels at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Access Channel 5.

Chautauqua People features guest Stan Lundine, past mayor of Jamestown, past US Congressman and Lieutenant Governor for the State of New York during the Mario Cuomo administration. The show is hosted by John Viehe and will air at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

Fresh Perspectives will have guest Dr. Gay Hilton speaking on lifetime sports. The show is hosted by Gail Erb and runs at 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Mayville's July 4th Parade will re-air at 4:00 PM and at 10:00 PM.

All programming starts on Saturday, July 8 and runs through Friday, July 14.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
