All the new programming for the week of September 30, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Defenders of Freedom and Fresh Perspectives!

"Defenders of Freedom" shares the first hand experiences of WWII veterans in the Western NY and Northwestern PA areas. Hosted and filmed at the Jackson Center in Jamestown NY, the project is a collaborative effort between the Center, the United Veterans Council, Chautauqua County Office of Veterans Services and local WWII authors and historians, Rolly Kidder and Phil Zimmer. This new series begins with Vivian Taylor's interview at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM, followed by Bruce Zunner at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will feature Justin Hanft, Chautauqua County Education Coalition. The program airs live county-wide on various access channels at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Access Channel 5.

Fresh Perspectives, with host Gail Erb, will have Joanie Brittingham, opera singer, as her guest. The program airs at 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, September 30 and runs through Friday, October 6. Repeat programming is often shown at other time slots.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
