PR: Access Channel 5 Programming for October 21-27

All the new programming for the week of October 21, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise and Defenders of Freedom.
"Defenders of Freedom" shares the first hand experiences of WWII veterans in the Western NY and Northwestern PA areas. Hosted and filmed at the Jackson Center in Jamestown NY, the project is a collaborative effort between the Center, the United Veterans Council, Chautauqua County Office of Veterans Services and local WWII authors and historians, Rolly Kidder and Phil Zimmer. Interviews this week will be Frank Tooze at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM, Bob Swift at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM and Marilyn Derby at 1:55 PM and 7:55 PM.
Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will feature MaryAnn Spanos, director of the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging. The program airs live county-wide on various access channels at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Access Channel 5.
Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.
All programming starts on Saturday, October 21 and runs through Friday, October 27.
Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
