PR: Access Channel 5 Programming for December 2-8

All the new programming for the week of December 2, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise and Defenders of Freedom.
"Defenders of Freedom" shares the first hand experiences of WWII veterans in the Western NY and Northwestern PA areas. Hosted and filmed at the Jackson Center in Jamestown NY, the project is a collaborative effort between the Center, the United Veterans Council, Chautauqua County Office of Veterans Services and local WWII authors and historians, Rolly Kidder and Phil Zimmer. Interviews this week will be aired at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM and include Agnes Pfleuger, Alton Lindberg, Andrew Coletti and Angelo Zanghi.
Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will feature Len Barry, Director of Marketing for the Reg Lenna Center, Home for the Holidays Concert. The program airs live county-wide on various access channels at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Access Channel 5.
Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.
All programming starts on Saturday, December 2 and runs through Friday, December 8.
Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
