All the new programming for the week of December 23, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Christmas in Your Heart, Defenders of Freedom and Fresh Perspectives.

"Defenders of Freedom" shares the first hand experiences of WWII veterans in the Western NY and Northwestern PA areas. Hosted and filmed at the Jackson Center in Jamestown NY, the project is a collaborative effort between the Center, the United Veterans Council, Chautauqua County Office of Veterans Services and local WWII authors and historians, Rolly Kidder and Phil Zimmer. Interviews this week will be aired at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM and include Ken Sorenson, Larry Tilleman, Lee Storey and Leonard Coniglio.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will feature Infinity Performing Arts Holiday Music Presentation. The program airs live county-wide on various access channels at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Access Channel 5.

Fresh Perspectives host Gail Erb will interview Justin Hanft of the Chautauqua County Education Coalition. The program airs at 3:00 and 9:00 PM daily.

"Christmas in your Heart" with Bill Ward, Amanda Barton and John Hamels will air at 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, December 23 and runs through Friday, December 29.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
