All the new programming for the week of March 31, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Defenders of Freedom, Fresh Perspectives and "The Humanity of Mary".

"Defenders of Freedom" shares the first hand experiences of WWII veterans in the Western NY and Northwestern PA areas. Hosted and filmed at the Jackson Center in Jamestown NY, the project is a collaborative effort between the Center, the United Veterans Council, Chautauqua County Office of Veterans Services and local WWII authors and historians, Rolly Kidder and Phil Zimmer. Moritz Fuschs, Lester Bishop and Bill Clark will be interviewed this week and will be aired at 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

"The Humanity of Mary" is a presentation by Fater Doug May to the Chautauqua Catholic Community in the Methodist House Chapel on August 18, 2017. The program will air at 1:10 PM and at 7:10 PM.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will have guest Mark Wilson talking about the Ice Breaker Triathlon. The program airs at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Access Channel 5.

Fresh Perspectives, hosted by Gail Erb, will feature a discussion about fermented vegetables with Bill Kuwick. The program will be at 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, March 31 and continues until Friday, April 6.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
