All the new programming for the week of April 14, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Defenders of Freedom, Rolling Hills Radio and Fresh Perspectives.

"Defenders of Freedom" shares the first hand experiences of WWII veterans in the Western NY and Northwestern PA areas. Hosted and filmed at the Jackson Center in Jamestown NY, the project is a collaborative effort between the Center, the United Veterans Council, Chautauqua County Office of Veterans Services and local WWII authors and historians, Rolly Kidder and Phil Zimmer. Paul Hannold, Paul Johnson and Rolly Kidder will be featured this week at 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

Rolling Hills Radio presents musicians Zig Zeitler and Kathryn Koch at 1:07 PM and 7:07 PM.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will have guest George Borello, Chautauqua County Executive, discussing his first 100 days.. The program airs live at 10:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Note that the live program is 1-hour later than the normal time slot for this week only.

Fresh Perspectives, hosted by Gail Erb, will have Diane Clark and Sandy Emke discussing bats, invasive species, Earth Day and tree planting.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, April 14 and continues until Friday, April 20.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter. Spectrum Cable will be relocating the station to channel 1301 in the near future.
