All the new programming for the week of May 5, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, and Defenders of Freedom.

"Defenders of Freedom" shares the first hand experiences of WWII veterans in the Western NY and Northwestern PA areas. Hosted and filmed at the Jackson Center in Jamestown NY, the project is a collaborative effort between the Center, the United Veterans Council, Chautauqua County Office of Veterans Services and local WWII authors and historians, Rolly Kidder and Phil Zimmer. Featured this week at 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM will be Bob Miller, Joe Panebianco, Marcel DeMonte, Norm Owen, Walter Langford and William Zuckerman.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will have guest Deborah Tederous from the United Way of Northern Chautauqua County. The program airs live at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, May 5 and continues until Friday, May 11.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 1301.
