PR: Access Chautauqua Programming for August 4-10

All the new programming for the week of August 4 featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Chautauqua People, Fresh Perspectives and Defenders of Freedom.

Defenders of Freedom will air at 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM, featuring interviews of World War II veterans Robert F. Smith and Tom Harte.

Chautauqua People, hosted by John Viehe, will be at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM. The guest is Dr. Gary Moore. Dr. Moore is a frequent presenter of Heritage Lectures at Chautauqua. This year's "Meeting to Pray and Play (and sometimes sway): The Camp Meeting Story" was given to an overflow crowd.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will have guest Diane Clark from Greystone Nature Presenve. The program airs live at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Fresh Perspectives, hosted by Gail Erb, will be at 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Her guest will be Patricia Pihl discussing writing memoirs.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, August 4 and continues until Friday, August 10.

Access Chautauqua, formerly Access Channel 5, is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on cable channel 1301.
