PR: Access Chautauqua Programming for April 6-12

All the new programming for the week of April 6 featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, 'A Tour of the Universe in 46 Minutes' and Chautauqua Institution Lecture Series 2017.

Chautauqua Institution 2017 Lecture Series will be Artemis A. W. Joukowski III, The Liberation of the Human Spirit at 12:45 PM and 6:45 PM, and L. Sebastian Purcell, From Anxiety to Happiness? What the Aztecs Can Teach Us About the Good Life at 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will have Jason Sample from the Chautauqua County Historical Society. The program airs live at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

A Tour of the Universe in 46 Minutes will air at 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM. The program features one of Chautauqua County’s most valuable institutions, the Martz-Kohl Observatory. Produced by Karen and Roy Harvey, the tour was a part of the annual ‘Doors Open Jamestown’ event on Jan. 19.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, April 6 with the final airing on Friday, April 12.

Access Chautauqua, formerly Access Channel 5, is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on cable channel 1301.
