All the new programming for the week of December 9 featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Chautauqua Women’s Club Contemporary Issues Forum presents a lecture by Dr. Georges C. Benjamin, MD and Fresh Perspectives.

Chautauqua Women’s Club Contemporary Issues Forum presents a lecture by Dr. Georges C. Benjamin, MD, “A New Social Compact to Achieve Optimal Health for All.” Topic: Eighty percent of what makes you health occurs outside of the doctor’s office, influence by social factors that either enable or hinder your ability to be healthy. These factors are well known but under-invested in by society. Dr. Benjamin is the Executive Director of the American Public Health Association.The program airs at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM and was recorded in the Hall of Philosophy at Chautauqua Institution on August 19, 2023.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will have guest Dana Corwin, Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services. The program is aired and streamed on Facebook live at 9:00 AM Saturday, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00.

Fresh Perspectives, hosted by Gail Erb, features Charlotte Orth, Master Reiki Practitioner. The program is at 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, December 9 with the final airing on Friday, December 15.
